Zoe Kravitz, actress, singer, songwriter, fash icon and the new face of the Woolworths RE:Jeanswear range, is on the rise. The 22-year old has recently been in South Africa shooting the super stylish and uber edgy RE:Jeanswear Campaign as well as the September ELLE cover. Zoe’s rock star style and free-spirited attitude has also landed her various features and front covers in International magazines such ASOS and Wonderland, made her the face of Vera Wang’s Princess Fragrance and Alexander Wang's Fall 2010 T Campaign and stared in movies such as No Reservations and The X-Men.

Tribal Tribute to Mama Africa

After falling in love with the Mirium Makeba ft Milk & Sugar - Pata Pata remix, I was inspired by Mama Africa herself to focus a Fedisa ‘fashion cookbook’ styling and photography assignment we had been given, on the tribal tastes of East Africa. Bold prints and bright colours were the theme of the shoot since bigger is better when in Africa.

These are the looks we shot which just to let you know was our second attempt , as the shoot we did the day before ended in complete mayhem when all the wardrobe and accessories were stolen from my car. Nevertheless as much as I thought karma hated me, it turned out to be a fash blessing in disguise.

I sourced images of incredibily decorate cupcakes,candy floss, meranges and ice-cream, these sugary shades whisper a delicate mood of romance.
